Unfortunately Holy Cross has suffered substantially from weathering and vandalism and is in a significant state of disrepair. You need only walk the grounds of Holy Cross to see the extent of the restoration that is needed, much of which is evident in the accompanying photos.
The Trust has undertaken to straighten, repair and re-erect as many of the stones as possible. To carry out this work and to be fully successful, the Trust is dependent on support from those who have family members or ancestors buried at Holy Cross Cemetery and others who are interested in restoring and preserving this site.
